For nearly 35 years we have believed we don’t own “things”, but are rather afforded opportunities to become their caretakers for a relatively brief moment in time. In return, we receive great satisfaction and joy, an enhanced environment, and potential investment opportunity. Whether it be an antique such as a Maxfield Parrish print, Bradley and Hubbard lamp, or a piece of Weller pottery, we know it will continue to excite the senses while creating a legacy for generations to come. Collectibles of the day such as bronzes by David Smus, Waterford crystal and vintage type furniture are examples of art forms becoming the antiquities of tomorrow. Finally, we believe it’s not the cost but the way in which something touches the heart that defines its true worth.
